I strive to live by the four Toltec Agreements. I am true to my word. I always do my best. I do not make assumptions. I am impeccable with my word.
I intend for this blog to be a landing page for my Digital Marketing Mastery Journey at Full Sail University. This blog is a personal career journal. I hopes that it can help others improve at digital marketing. I will be posting uplifting as well as informational content. Transforming this site will help me gain insight into my new field!
Why do this?
- Someone could learn something from my failures and successes
- A landing page will help me zero in on my audience
- It will help me gauge what content is relevant and exciting
- I can practice web design and copy
- My blog could inspire someone
I hope to publish hand-crafted digital content, uplifting videos, positive affirmations, art and other digital marketing content.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology. I received the Bonnie and Peter Raquet High-Impact Learning Grant from Cleveland State and spent some time in Belize studying Ethnomedicine. I decided I wanted to figure out how to generate revenue as well as write about topics that are important to me. I want to be able to afford to help others. I grew up in Avon, Ohio. It was the kind of small town where you could ride your bike everywhere especially in the summer. I love the forests in Ohio, Georgia, and the tropical rainforests of Belize. I want to visit the Pacific Northwest some day and see the old-growth forests.
You might be asking yourself:
- Why are you blogging publicly, rather than keeping a personal journal?
- Who would you love to connect with via your blog?
- If you blog successfully throughout the next year, what would you hope to have accomplished?
I am blogging publicly because I want to share my journey. I would love for someone like Bill Gates, Lisa Frank, Neil Patel, Ann Handley, Seth Godin to read my blog.
I am learning Adobe Creative Suite! It’s the best.
I made a sticker of Finn the Human from Adventure Time for Redbubble which I am proud of: https://www.redbubble.com/shop/p/41148999.EJUG5.stickers?ref=explore-recently-viewed
In the next year I hope to make this blog a portfolio piece that I would be proud to show potential employers.
Stay tuned for more content…
